The Quality Management System we use is designed to maintain and continually improve the effectiveness and efficiency of the organisation's performance. The quality management system meets the requirements of ISO 9001:2008; and is documented within our Quality Manuals.

Linlec Electrical Services provides innovative and contemporary services to Private Industry and Government Sectors at competitive rates. We have accreditation to work on Government projects and are Code Compliant under the National Code of Practice for the Construction Industry.

We are also a member of the National Electrical & Communications Association (NECA). NECA is the industry body that represents electrical and communications contractors in Australia. This provides us with the apparatus through member services, to assist our business to be the most efficient and up-to-date in the industry.

We ensure compliance with the requirements of the Electricity Safety Act for all work carried out; by guaranteeing every Electrical installation is examined and tested prior to handing over to the customer. When satisfied the work has been completed in accordance with AS/NZS 3000 and all other requirements associated with Australian Standards, we will provide a Certificate of Electrical Safety to the customer (the operator of the network where applicable) and will keep a copy of the certification for 5 years after completion of the work for ongoing reference. Our clients can rest assured they have received a top quality, safe service.

Linlec Electrical Services implements Safe Work Method Statements (SWMS) before working on each site and the communication of SWMS' to other workers on site to ensure their safety.

Our company utilises a fully comprehensive OH&S Manual which has been verified by the National Electrical and Communications Association. The latest Industry Standards are constantly being updated and applied to our work practices and we only employ those contractors who aspire to the same level of OH&S standards as ourselves.

At LinLec Electrical Services, our quality assurance program is backed by our personal guarantee and a manufacturer’s warranty. All the work we perform, is guaranteed by us and we will repair any work that has been deemed flawed through workmanship or material.

All our work is covered by a 12 month warranty from the completion date and all the products we use are also backed by a manufactures warranty. WHAT WE DO

LinLec Electrical Services specialise in a wide range of commercialised services. These include the installation of lighting and power in both interior and exterior concepts along with power delivery and conveyance systems. Wiring in the mechanical stages of heating/cooling systems where we lay the ground work for any systems requiring specialist power control or reticulation. We also conduct a large variety of Commercial, Industrial and Domestic installations encompassing individualised power supplies for a range of Electrical applications.

We have worked in a wide variety of commercial premises; everything from new medical facilities to warehouses, in a wide variety of environments, both rural and suburban. These provisions have been applied to projects across our service area of Australian and New Zealand and we strive to ensure the highest standard installations, no matter where the project is based.

COMMERCIAL ELECTRICAL SERVICES

Ballarat Health Services (Cancer Centre)

The new Ballarat Integrated Cancer Centre represents a significant upgrade to the health services that can be provided to cancer patients in the Ballarat region. This new facility requires an extensive installation of a wide variety of mechanical services. These include; air-conditioning systems , exhaust systems, compressed gas systems, compressed air systems, chilled water systems and water heating systems just to name a few. Undertaking this project Linlec will ensure that this centre has the best possible installation of these services so the facility can provide the highest standard of care.

COMMERCIAL ELECTRICAL SERVICES

Wyndham Medical Centre

Linlec was involved in the fit out of Light and power to the new Wyndham Medical centre. This new facility will provide a significant improvement of the delivery of health services in the area as well as generating jobs during and after its construction. When completed it will be a two storey structure with GP’s and other services operating across both levels.

COMMERCIAL ELECTRICAL SERVICES

Coleraine Hospital

As with other health projects the Coleraine Hospital requires an extensive list of Mechanical services to be installed in its new facility. Ranging from the installation of air conditioning to medical vacuum systems this project will be extensive and will mean a great improvement to health services in the region. Even in this remote location Linlec will apply our well-practiced staging to ensure the project is delivered on time and within budget.

Castlemaine Hospital UPGRADE

This project saw the demolition of antiquated services throughout the hospital site; our role was to upgrade medical theatres with the most up to date technology and to the most current Australian standards.

COMMERCIAL ELECTRICAL SERVICES

St John of God Hospital (Ballarat)

In this project Linlec was responsible for installing power supplies for the Mechanical services to the new wards building and the sleep analysis centre upstairs. We also refurbished the Mechanical Electrical Services in other areas of the hospital as part of the building wide renovation.

One of the challenges of this job was co-coordinating the handover of the Emergency Departments switchboard so as to ensure uninterrupted power to this area as it remained active throughout the course of works. This required careful staging to meet the deadline s of each stage so that power could be redirected appropriately.      

COMMERCIAL ELECTRICAL SERVICES

ATO/Centrelink - Geelong

In this project Linlec were contracted to install mechanical Electrical Services and Automatic Control system to the ATO/Centrelink facility in Geelong. Along with the normal services like air conditioning a central building management system was installed. This allowed for the new building to be as energy efficient as possible by monitoring the temperature within the building and only heating /cooling the rooms that were in use therefore saving a vast amount of energy that would have otherwise been wasted with a standard system.

This project required Linlec to work very closely with the Mechanical Contractor and the construction company so careful staging and clear communication was required to meet the various deadlines set by the builder.

COMMERCIAL ELECTRICAL SERVICES

Ballarat Aquatic Centre

This was a large light and power project installing new systems into the Ballarat Aquatic Centre‘s new extension. With this facility there were a number of considerations that had to be made for the installation of new lights. One was the high humidity environment which meant that all lights had to be sealed to minimize the risk of electrical shorts. Another was the need to locate power points where they were protected from water which meant in some areas covering them or locating them higher up the wall.

The major challenge in this project was merging the original facilities power grid with the new extension without interrupting power. This was difficult as parts of the switchboard had to be upgraded to take the extra load of the new facility. Close communication with management meant there was minimal downtime and no disruption of facilities for the public.

Museum of Australian Democracy Eureka 

This exciting new facility will become a focal point for tourism in Ballarat and a valuable education resource. It will be made up of a wide selection of exhibition space, classrooms, an auditorium and a café. Linlec is proud to announce that it is handling the installation of both interior and exterior lighting for this project as well as general power facilities.
